Job description / Role
Lead System Design Engineers x 3
Our client is a Middle Eastern provider of EPC services for Control, Instrumentation and Automation systems for the Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors.
They are looking to employ 3 Lead Engineers with systems design experience on Oil & Gas projects, ideally within the Middle East. Candidates must have excellent knowledge of Siemens PCS7 systems and all related applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide all kinds of technical support to the projects teams handling the projects that have system requirement based on the Siemens product range
- Write/review Functional Design Specifications
- Generate all necessary design work/design documentation for all system solutions based on the Siemens range of hardware/software
- Review and audit all engineering work related to the Siemens system solutions generated by design engineers in the department
- Take a proactive role in solving all technical issues in the office and at site related to company supplied systems based on Siemens range of products
- Ensure all company applicable engineering and functional safety standards are complied with at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Control/Instrumentation)
- At least 5 years experience in process and safety control systems
- Knowledge of system hardware and software platforms by Siemens, particularly PCS7
- Experience designing ESD, F&G for the Oil & Gas sector
