Lead Systems Engineer

Job description / Role

My client is a Middle Eastern provider of EPC services for Control, Instrumentation and Automation systems for the Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors.

They are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer, with exposure to working on HIMA systems for EPC projects.

Duties:
- Taking a leading role in the generation of all the necessary hardware and software design for system solutions based on all HIMA systems
- Review all design work carried out by design engineer based system solutions as well as all related design issues
- Provide all kinds of technical support to the projects teams handling the assigned project
- Generate all necessary design work/design documentation (Software and Hardware)
- Take a proactive role in solving all technical issues in the office and at site related to company supplied
- Ensure all company applicable engineering and functional safety standards are complied with at all times
- Manage all the client interface with regard to the all technical issues
- Ensure that BOM is generated correctly and approved as per clients requirements

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Control/Instrumentation)
- Minimum 5 years experience using HIMA systems
- Experience working on EPC Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East
- Extensive knowledge of design and programming for HIMA systems
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English Language
