Lead UI Developer (Senior Associate)

Job description / Role

A Senior Associate level Interface Developer is responsible for leading a front-end technology workstream on a project, planning, and assigning work to team members. For smaller teams, the SA may also take on a significant amount of development tasks. Also required to offer informal mentoring to junior colleagues and present ideas/technologies to the engineering team.

Requirements

SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge of XHTML 1 & HTML 5
- Expert knowledge of cross browser CSS, including CSS3
- Expert knowledge of Javascript (OOP programming, DOM Manipulation, AJAX, design patterns)
- Thorough knowledge of JQuery, the ability to write code without support of library
- W3C standards based coding expereince
- Accessibility
- Cross-browser coding
- Knowledge of front-end development for mobile
- Familiarity with server side integration, and knowledge of, at least, one major content management system.

Must have one or more of the following;
- XSL
- XML
- Flash
- .net
- JSP

Excellent communicator and mentor, be able to share thoughts with a team of enthusiastic developers. Project leadership would be an advantage
