As a result of continuous growth and development we have a unique opportunity for a training specialist to join our Learning and Development team reporting to the Director of Learning and Development.
In this position as a Manager, you will be responsible for developing, planning, designing and facilitating management and supervision programs as designated. As part of this role, you will also oversee, manage and facilitate the departmental training programs and ensure the overall success of all courses.
Using your strong analytical and evaluation skills, you will be reporting on the effectiveness of all programs implemented and strategize areas for further development on a need by needs basis.
The following duties and responsibilities will also be undertaken in the role:
- Conduct departmental training audits
- Ensure that service standards are being achieved via structured training strategies
- Assist in conducting Training needs analysis then plan, design and deliver the relevant courses
- Ensure all training records are managed effectively and are up to date
- Analyze measurement tools such as JD Power, guest feedback etc
- Assist in the development and management of the mentorship and succession planning programs
- Coach and develop team members at all levels regarding training and development opportunities
- Liaise closely with department heads and establish strong working relationships
- Assist with managing the training budget
