Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading retail, hospitality and food and beverage company who are looking to hire a Learning & Development Manager to be based in Dubai.
Reporting to the Group HR Director, this role will play a pivotal part in the creation of an entire complex and sophisticated training function from scratch. The role will play an active part in the development of the companys training programs as well as the maintenance of training material after creation. You will be involved in producing new learning materials and manuals in line with planned training activities and objectives that will drive and deliver the training programs in accordance with the training calendar.
You will be responsible for the creation and development of your own training team as well as setting the training strategy, budgets and liaising with the senior management team. You will also be involved in a key project, involving the creation of a training academy. Whilst preparing the quarterly training calendars you will also be involved in inductions, product knowledge and retail specific key training programs.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be Western educated and hold a minimum of 5 years experience as a Training Manager or Learning & Development Manager. Retail, hospitality or food and beverage experience would be beneficial.
