Learning & Development Manager

Job description / Role

Learning & Development Manager required by leading western EPCM firm based in Riyadh, on the role out of a multibillion dollar project.

Duties

* Manage the Learning & Organisational Development (L&D) function
* Provide support to, and facilitate the Company induction
* Support staff with the booking of training courses, and update L&D records accordingly
* Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on L&D activities
* Contribute to HR procedures as required
* Handle all first line L&D enquiries as required
* Continuously improve and develop systems and processes
* Ensure that learning and development programs conform to HSE and other company policies
* Manage the L&D budget
* Manage the logistics of training events
* Maintain the Training Calendar and the Academic Events Calendar

Competencies required:

Job Specific:

* Computer literacy including experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook & Intranet
* Expert at building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and clients
* A person of integrity who is trusted and can be relied upon to deliver tasks on time.
* Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; and suggest possible solutions; asking for assistance, as and when required.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to make presentations when required.
* Able to work effectively, both independently, and as part of a small team

Requirements

Required:

* A recognised degree in a relevant discipline ie HR, Personnel Management and Development or similar for Western University essential.
* Min 3 years as a L&D Manager
* 5 years solid administrative experience in a western region
* Computer literacy including experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook & Intranet
* Fluent English both written and Spoken
