Learning & Development Specialist - Qatar

My client is a growing organisation, looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join the team in a stand alone position.

The main duties of the role:
- Preparation of annual and long term training strategy and budget to meet the Companys learning and skill development needs.
- Assessment of training requirements for the organization by holding meetings, appraisal analysis and preparation of supporting data and reports.
- Coordinate the Performance and Development Review Process.
- Identify L&D needs within through job analysis, competences, the Performance and Development Review process and regular consultation with senior managers to ensure that L&D delivers comprehensive and timely learning solutions
- Ensure efficiency of L & D through with an effective mix of classroom, blended and online learning methods.
- Based on organisational needs, provide regular business skills courses.
- Create and maintain an E-learning resource for all departments.
- Design and delivery of training modules, induction and refresher training.
- Prepare regular training progress reports, training related statistics, feedback analysis and expenditure details to assist senior in monitoring plan progress. Ensure individual training systems data input is correct and complete.
- Capture and analyze feedback regarding training courses effectiveness and adjust accordingly. Discuss individual employees development needs, assesses progress and provide input as necessary.
- Obtain, validate and examine nominations for training programs, inform suitable participants about the training schedules and follow-up to completion and delivery of program .
- Promote the Graduate Development Program on a national and international level and to ensure continued enrollment of graduates.

Requirements

- Experience of Learning & Development, specifically for Nationals - essential
- Experience of creating and designing L&D programs - essential
- Excellent communication skills - essential
- Ideally my client would be interested in a candidates from a Western country with experience in the GCC working with nationalization projects in either Qatar, UAE, Oman or Saudi Arabia.

Salary
AED 35,000 - 45,000
