Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading retail group. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Learning and Development Manager to lead and direct the L&D function ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive service across the business.
Reporting to the GM, you will develop, revise, improve and maintain all of the training programs and material alongside managing a small team. You will produce new learning materials in line with planned training activities and objectives and deliver training programs in accordance with the training calendar. Additionally, you will monitor and report on the progress of trainees, identify and recommend training requirements and conduct training needs analysis as well as evaluate training effectiveness. You will also be involved in induction, relationship, customer service, brand / product knowledge, upselling / cross selling and style training programmes.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 6 years experience within the HR L&D field with at least 2 years at managerial level. You should be familiar with the delivery of customer service skills training programs within the UAE and the use of different learning methods. Knowledge in the design of training content is desirable whilst retail experience would be beneficial. It is essential you have exposure working within a sizeable company.
