Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Deal with a variety of disputes at all stages; viz. analysis, evaluation, negotiation, settlement, pre-litigation, litigation, arbitration and other means of dispute resolution.
• Conduct researches, develop strategies, arguments, and testimonies in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Liaise with the counterparties and co-ordinate the execution of necessary documentation.
• Drafting of and responding to all legal notices, petitions, claims, pleadings and other related memos.
• Drafting and updating dispute resolution procedures and relevant legal documentation. Review the legal documentation and forms to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Analyze and keep abreast of changes in the laws as well as draft and review all legal matters and proceedings.
• Co-ordinate, advise, guide, train and develop subordinates in the legal department.
• Provide well-researched legal inputs and steer law firms while presenting cases, as and when required.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Law from reputable institution
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic (English would be a credit).
• At least 3 years PQE of handling litigations, with a law firm is a must.
• Demonstrated litigation experience in UAE.
