Job description / Role

Salary: up to 27,000 AED

Our client, based in Dubai is part of one of the biggest group of companies in UAE has an opportunity for a Legal Advisor / Commercial Contracts Manager for an exciting new green energy development project in the Oil and Gas sector.

This company is operating along with an excess of 20 affiliated companies and working within in 4 continents, operating in more than 25 nations, while this part of the company is new, there is lots of scope for career development both within the operation and with the affiliated companies.

The focus of this role is to oversee all legal contracts for suppliers, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, banks and more. This is a hands on role where you will need to prepare all draft documents for the company as well and see them into fruition as well as keep track on their development and adherence. Along with this you will also provide legal opinions, attend meetings, negotiate with legal entities, and be able to also support all requirements for litigation and cases as required.

Responsibilities
- Develop all legal deeds for the company
- Provide legal advice and review all legally binding documents
- Provide draft documents for contracts as required
- Work with all outside entities including contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants
- Keep up to date with all legal requirements regarding the development of the project in the industry
- Ensure all compliance and regulatory documents as kept

Requirements

- 10 + years of experience preferably in the oil and gas sector
- Proven track record of resolving business litigation cases
- Understanding of UAE Law and other countries where they may be located
