Employment: Full Time

Our Client, Oman Cement Company SAOG, is looking to recruit for the position of Legal Advisor

Job purpose:To support the Company in the identification and management of legal risks to the organisation.
 
The position holder shall be responsible for the following:
Providing legal opinion to management in all issues including commercial contracts, tenders, contracts and other labor .
Assisting administration to comply with various legal requirements.
Drafting and revising all legal documents, contractual and tender documents.
Representing the company before the courts and institutions with regard to commercial disputes, criminal and labor cases.
Reviewing and developing internal policies with the aim to comply with legislations.
Providing solutions on disputes and matters relating to shareholders and customers when required.
Performing the duties of secretary to the board; attend Board meetings and its sub- committees.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience
Master's degree or equivalent in law is required.
Relevant Professional qualification in law, (preferably in commercial law) is required.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience is required.

Required Skills and Knowledge
Capability to deal with complex legal issues quickly and accurately is required
Good Analytical and Decision Making skills are required
Strong interpersonal skills are required
Language fluency (written and spoken) in both Arabic and English languages is required
