The RoleThe RoleLegal Advisor Main Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for providing a full in-house legal advice to the organization to ensure that all legal requirements are addressed & conducted by the company per the prevailing law & regulations in The State of Qatar and other countries of operations on a timely basis and guard the legal rights of the company. Advise & recommend CEO and Executive Management Team on legal matters, liabilities and exposures Provide legal advice on corporate structuring, acquisitions, mergers and new project development. Monitor and communicate governmental laws and regulations to CEO and Executive Management Draft and review all kinds of Agreements, Contracts, and Tenders, etc.. Draft, advise on, negotiate and finalize the legal aspects of acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals of business or companies. Advise and review all Documentation, including not limited to contracts, Agreements, proposals, bank guarantees, term sheets, shareholders Agreements, etc.. Contribute towards the documentation of human resources and administration related agreements, Manual, Policy and Procedures. Research, analyze and draft legal reports and prepare and/or revise legal texts in any other relevant legal area as assigned by CEO & managements. |
RequirementsRequirementsSkills International legal experience & exposure in international JVs, mergers or acquisitions transactions. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, balance conflicting demands and priorities, and to work under time pressure. A high level of commitment, discretion and diplomacy. Good knowledge in using Microsoft Office. Engaged in diverse business activities. Provide clear, concise and timely oral and written communications and ability to conduct comprehensive legal research. Good interpersonal skills required Bilingual (Arabic and English language is required) Basic Requirements Job Related Experience: 10+ years experience in corporate and commercial legal advisory role position, preferably in a large size corporate environment. Education Bachelors degree in Law, MBA in law field |
