Job description / Role
Our client, a leading global law firm with a blue chop client base and offices in Dubai is seeking a Paralegal for the successful Intellectual Property practice.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
- Opening new matters, entering and managing case data;
- Conducting searches, making enquiries, reviewing journals and document management;
- Reporting to and liaising with clients in English and Arabic;
- Preparing application forms and and translating short texts in English and Arabic;
- Preparing fee quotes for filing multi-country projects and assisting with billing.
Requirements
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Commercial or University-level experience utilising English and Arabic for reading, writing, and speaking;
- A tertiary degree;
- Demonstrated Commercial or University-level experience in Intellectual Property;
- A high level of attention to detail, a professional attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility;
- A willingness to work under supervision, to adapt to others' working styles, and to achieve high levels of quality and client service.
