Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A leading multinational FMCG company is looking for a Legal Assistant to provide assistance and support on all matters handled by the legal department. In addition, the Legal Assistant will be required to provide administrative and office support in the daily running of the department

Main responsibilities, include:

• Support the company's efforts to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards
• Identify, classify and maintain and protect files, documentation and sensitive information consistent with record handling and retention requirements
• Draft non complex agreements i.e. minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors, POA's
• Protect information provided in confidence from outside sources and ensure this information is not disseminated to those not directly involved
• Communicate status of work to appropriate parties in order to keep them informed and involved
• Ensure priorities are handled effectively by modifying plans and actions in your own area of accountability

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7 - 10 years Secretarial/PA experience
• Previous experience working for a Law Firm/In-House Legal department is highly essential
• Impeccable English communication skills (Read/Write/Speak)
• Excellent interpersonal, team work, organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of meeting deadlines is essential
