Job description / Role
Our Client, An international law firm based in Dubai is looking for a 5yr PQE Construction Associate to join their existing team, their-ranked engineering and construction team works on building, engineering, utilities, transportation, infrastructure and real estate development projects, and associated dispute resolution. they offer a full range of construction law advice, from procurement planning, contract negotiation and drafting through to strategic advice during construction, claims settlement and beyond.
The existing lawyers are recognised for their track record in successfully resolving complex domestic and cross-border construction disputes. They provide swift advice that is commercially sound, based on deep experience and industry know-how, with a view to reaching efficient and effective solutions. Their services include advising on labour agreements, construction insurance policies, performance bonds and parent company guarantees, and representations in connection with regulatory matters affecting the design, development and construction process.
They act for clients across the whole sector active in the Middle East, including developers, government agencies, contractors, oil and gas multinationals, consulting firms and project lenders.
Requirements
- Currently looking for a dynamic 5+ years PQE Senior Associate with strong technical and drafting skills to join ther construction team in Dubai.
The candidate should have the following qualification and skills:
- Strong academic qualifications
- Qualification as solicitor in the UK or other common law jurisdiction
- Career to date focussed on construction (non-contentious);
- Background in either a large international or national firm, or a smaller specialist construction firm
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Preferably has Middle East experience
