The RoleThe RoleThe incumbent will be responsible for providing a focal point for communication with the Nominee Directors that represent the bank on the Board of Directors (BOD) of subsidiaries/affiliates, and will occupy a key role in the administration of critical corporate matters including corporate governance issues, mergers & acquisitions and other corporate activities. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of the activities of the Corporate Secretariat through maintaining accurate and sufficient documentation to meet legal requirements, and to enable the company representatives to execute decisions at the BOD level of subsidiaries/affiliates. The incumbent may represent the bank in dealings with outside parties. |
RequirementsRequirementsUndergraduate/postgraduate Law degree from an internationally renowned law school, or chartered secretary qualifications e.g. ICSA. At least 8-10 years legal experience, of which several years experience as a corporate secretary. Candidate must be Arabic, English and French speaking. Candidates that do not speak Arabic will not be considered. MUST have Experience in a similar role within a BANK. Candidates without similar experience will not be considered. |
