The Role


The Role


Objective:
•Perform legal research, checking facts, gathering client information and evidence and completing paperwork.
•Legal Coordinators do not represent clients in court, accept cases, set fees or give legal advice, all of which must be done by an associate. However Legal Coordinators will be expected to provide legal support to the associate and maintain and update the document system of the department as well as key dates.

Main responsibilities:
•Follow up with different ministries and governmental bodies to file applications and obtain licenses and approvals.
•Assist associates of all levels on research of laws and judgments.
•Can assist associates with drafting minor changes to standardized documents.
•Prepare standard legal documents for matters as and when requested.
•Organize department database of standard laws, judgments, regulations and precedents system as well as provide the associates with an update.
•Liaise and finalize with marketing on new laws and regulation articles to be published in ‘Law update’.
•Maintaining key dates for the department and may include legal tasks outside of the office.

Previous experience :
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
•Previous experience must be from a Legal Firm or Legal department
Specialist knowledge :
•Working knowledge of research techniques
•Excellent command of English and Arabic
Language Skills : English and Arabic
Current Residence : Preferably Doha
