Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a globally renowned management consultancy and outsourcing organisation. Our client is looking to hire a Legal Counsel (Contracts) to join the Legal Services Department in their Abu Dhabi office.
The Legal Services Department delivers and coordinates legal, contract and commercial advice and counsel supporting internal / external clients whilst managing and mitigating risk, ensuring ethical behaviour and compliance with laws / company policies.
You will adapt the existing procedures in order to create alternative contract solutions to complex problems, understanding the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. In addition, you will use your own initiative in defining and recommending optimal solutions whilst forming the methods and procedures for new assignments with minimal guidance.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a relevant Degree in law, preferably from the US or UK with at least 6 years post-graduate experience. You should also have experience in an international environment within a consultancy or private practice firm. It is essential you have both written and spoken fluency in English. Arabic skills are not essential, however they would be advantageous.
