Job description / Role
An excellent opportunity is now available for an exceptional Legal Counsel to join a renowned company based in Abu Dhabi.
The role will entail Providing legal advice and direction across the Group and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations associated with its business operations to minimise risk and facilitate efficient decision-making by the executive management team
Requirements
Law degree from an internationally reputable university
Minimum 3-6 years’ experience in an international law firm (preferably UK or US)
Experience in international cross-border transactions and projects
Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience preferably in any of the following areas: General Corporate / Commercial, Projects / Construction.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Research skills
Communication skills (Fluent English-essential; Arabic-desirable)
Ability to liaise effectively, and coordinate with, internal project teams and service providers (at the international and local level)
Planning, organising and time management
Solid understanding of Legal & Compliance team and Group values, strategies, policies and procedures
