The RoleThe RoleLegal Advisor Overview This is an excellent, and rare opportunity to work as a Legal Advisor for a leading Commercial Aerospace company based in Dubai. Role Description In this role you will report to the General Counsel for the entire business and will be responsible for supporting the GC in handling all legal matters for the business. As part of your role you will assist in providing legal advice across a broad range of commercial issues (such as IT and engineering contracts), and assisting with the development, delivery and co-ordination of legal training programs for staff. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: - Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, - Providing general Legal Department support including ad hoc specialist research (such as employment law issues or trademarks) and general document management (such as developing/maintaining a file management system). - Assisting with the Company's financing activities. |
RequirementsRequirementsWho our client is looking for: Our client is looking for 0-1 years of corporate/finance post-qualification experience gained at a reputable mid tier/top tier firm, preferably in an aviation context and/or financing context and having worked in the Arabian Gulf. As a guideline candidates must possess: - Excellent analytical ability as well as good communication skills, both written and verbal. - Candidates must be service-oriented, commercially aware and capable of working on a diverse range of client matters whilst maintaining a continuing grasp of the Company's long term commercial goals. - The job holder must be a qualified member of a recognised and respected professional (law) body or affiliation. Computer literacy is essential, both in Word Processing and Spreadsheets (preferably M/S Office software). |
