Employment: Full Time

We are pleased to be working with an international FMCG company. They are looking for a Junior Legal Manager:

The job holder is responsible rendering appropriate, proactive and effective legal advice to support the strategic direction and growth initiatives of the Company.
1. Drawing up contracts and other legal documents
2. Help drive processes, capabilities and knowledge-sharing to and from the Legal Function.
3. Provide proactive and effective legal advice to the Legal Head and Senior Leadership that balances legal risks with required business objectives and aims.
4. Promote ethical culture and minimize legal risk and liabilities through preventative compliance initiatives including ensuring proper deployment of compliance programs designed to educate employees on key legal issues associated with business activities and to promote compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

The right candidates will be based in the UAE and have good working experience in the UAE and ideally for the FMCG industry.
Law Degree from a reputed University
4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in the FMCG industry or a well-regarded Law Firm
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint)
Should be mobile as the position demands constant travel within the GCC countries
Working Knowledge of laws in GCC
Thorough Knowledge of theories, concepts and procedures of laws and legal system in UAE / GCC
Sound business understanding with strong business acumen
Proficient in preparing legal drafts and in both English and Arabic
Demonstrates thought leadership
Should possess excellent relationship management and communication skills
Should possess sound negotiation and influencing skills
Demonstrates ability to make effective decisions
Demonstrates integrity and works in compliance with the organization code of Business Conduct
