Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading UAE bank who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Manager to assist in the management of the banks legal function.
The successful candidate will ensure that the bank’s interests are protected (from a legal stand point) by providing legal opinions and advisory services to the Corporate and Investment Banking Group. You will also draft and review legal documentation as well as negotiate all types of contracts relating to corporate, banking and finance matters.
Requirements
Candidates should have previous banking and finance experience alongside good management skills. As you will have two Legal Managers reporting to you, you should also have experience in managing a team. You should be UK/US qualified with 5-7 years post qualification experience. You should also be registered with either the US or UK bar council. Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked with and are familiar with this region or have dealt with clients/handled jobs related to the region.
