Legal Officer

Job description / Role

My client is a leading investment group based in Abu Dhabi.

Provide support to Chief Legal Counsel, conducting legal research and reviewing and drafting of legal documents. Experience in corporate and commercial is required; real estate is a plus.

• Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
• Review and draft different kinds of agreements including MOU, NDA, share sale and purchase agreements, JV agreements
• Draft and review corporate documents as articles of association, shareholders agreements, POAs and board resolutions
• Review and advise on real estate sale and purchase agreements
• Draft correspondence and other documents
• Monitor and review government regulations to ensure that the corporation is aware of new legal requirements.
• Review company paperwork, particularly contracts, and draft legal documents.
• Keep information related to cases or transactions in computer databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in law
• 3 to 5 years previous experience in the law field with one year experience at least in the UAE
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent verbal, written and customer relations skills in both English and Arabic languages (mainly in English)
