Job description / Role
In this role you will be axpected to analyze, develop and maintain Network Cost Models (Mobile/Fixed/Converged) with complete audit trail and supporting studies for audited regulatory financial statements (FDC HCA/CCA, LRIC) and management decision making.
Analysing market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins in order to develop reports, procedures and tools for pricing.
Responsibilities of the role shall include the following:
Reviewing all the services, products, rate plans and promotions are in line with business and regulatory requirements. Building custom modeling solutions to meet regulatory & internal needs. Working closely with the regulatory on costing issues. Developing and analysing all retail, wholesale and HCA/FAC/LRIC/CCA models and to ensure proper allocation of all network related costs and revenues to  relevant services.
The responsibilities shall also include developing baseline price information, analysing and identifying opportunities to optimize profitability through price strategies. Taking initiatives in identifying and resolving issues around cost, pricing and margin. Communicate related model results to all concerned parties. Maintaining and enhancing all retail and wholesale costing and pricing related processes and procedures.
Independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures as necessary.
Requirements
- You have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics; Master's degree preferred.
- You need to have more than 8+ years of experience in the same or similar role. 6-7 years of the experience needs to be in the same or similar position.
- Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
- Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast paced business environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
