Job description / Role
Our client is an international law firm concentrating in global business. The firm operates in 37 of the worlds 50 largest economies. Delivering solutions and creating opportunities, this is an innovative law firm, providing legal services to public and private institutions, operating in critical sectors of the global economy. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this firm, where geographic, political and practice-driven barriers have been removed.
The successful candidate will be a highly self- motivated individual who can provide comprehensive secretarial support to a Partner of the firm and other fee- earners in the respective team. The role of a legal secretary requires an exceptionally organised candidate who must possess excellent communication skills in English.
Additionally, the role will include:
- Providing all secretarial duties, including arranging travel, full diary management and daily correspondence of emails and telephone calls
- Managing all files, archiving and updating client/ contact lists on relevant databases
- Liaising with external clients/ contacts in a professional manner and building strong working relationships
- Managing the monthly billing process and dealing with some expenses
- The role will demand a high level of typing, including amending documents, taking minutes in meetings and general day-to-day correspondence.
- Typing skills should be fast and accurate.
Requirements
Our client is looking for a candidate who has a minimum of three years experience working for a leading law firm, in a relevant legal secretarial role or high-level PA position. The candidate must be extremely organised and demonstrative of good IT and excellent typing skills. Ideally, our client requires an active team member, someone who is flexible on working hours and is trustworthy.
