Job description / Role
Our client a British Law Firm is currently looking for a Legal Translator to provide professional and accurate Arabic and English translations to all Partners.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare timely, accurate and professional Arabic and English translations liaising when necessary with Partners/Associates on the content and deadline.
- Provide language consultation to Partners and/or Associates.
- Liaise, when necessary, with case handlers on the content and the deadline for the translation(s).
- Proofread the work carried out by the external translators, if requested. Managing relationship with stakeholders.
Salary AED 17,000
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- have a translation degree or diploma;
-be fluent in spoken/ written Arabic and English;
-have 3-5 years of dedicated legal translation experience in Arabic to English and vice versa; -have good research skills and excellent attention to detail;
-be a team player who is able to work with minimal supervision and accept a second opinion on his/her work;
-be able to work to tight deadlines and maintain confidentiality;
-be competent using Microsoft Office; be proactive and well organized
