The RoleThe Role Handle corporate legal issues. Managing the Legal department in all aspect related to legalization. Litigation under commercial Laws including civil recovery matters against suppliers and consumers. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation cases. Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuit. Drafting Agreements, Petitions, and Complaints before various Forums. Drafting transactional, vendor, supply chain agreements Understand the issues/dispute in totality, review from the legal perspective to advise or decide an appropriate course of action, collect the necessary inputs from the department and enunciate the companys stand. Enhancing the existing compliance system for entire operation. Due diligence and drafting of agreements. Initiate legal actions on trademark / patent infringement matters. Legal Strategy and advising the management. Negotiations with Vendors and properties landlords. Handling all Commercial documents. Approvals from Government Organizations. General Corporate Advice. All labor and Industrial issues in respect of settlements, permanency, transfers, disciplinary matters etc. Software Knowledge: Ms Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must. |
RequirementsRequirements Excellent Negotiations and Communication Skills. Knowledge of Corporate Laws and other governing laws, rules and regulations. Skill level should not be limited to the law. In addition to a high level of legal skill. Legal Manager of corporations should have leadership skills. Must be able to act decisively regarding legal challenges that face a corporation, and competently advise other C level officers. They make sure all actions by the company are legal and typically report to the Board of Directors in the annual meeting. |
