The RoleThe RoleThe Company: This award winning multi disciplined Group of companies has a strong local and international presence in providing the best in class tourist & leisure facilities through a number of sectors including hotels, sporting, F&B and leisure. As part of a new complex based in Dubai they are now seeking a suitably qualified Leisure & Recreation Manager to oversee the new development and manage a dedicated team. Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for the entire leisure complex including sports, gym, beach club • Overseeing and manage the revenue & budgets • Setting and driving the training of staff in OH&S, equipment and customer service • Oversee the marketing, promotions and branding of the leisure facilities • In line with the Marketing Department organize suitable events for guests & visitors • Be involved in the recruitment, training and management of staff including appraisals, discipline and promotions • Implement necessary policies or procedures to ensure a safe, profitable and enjoyable environment for staff and customers |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience Required: • Minimum of 6 years commercial experience in HOSPITALITY / LEISURE / FACILITIES MANAGEMENT including sporting, gym, swimming pools, beach etc. • Must have excellent management and people skills • Strong understanding of customer orientated service in a leisure / resort business • Excellent training skills and the ability to motivate staff • Good understanding of financial budget management • Any local experience is well regarded or International 5 star resorts |
