Liaison Engineer (Civil Background)

Job description / Role

Local Abu Dhabi Civil Engineering & Power Contractor based in the heart of Abu Dhabi needs a Liaison Engineer .

This individual will be responsible for coordinating all NOCs & related paperwork for projects in Abu Dhabi , Dubai & Al Ain.

This individual will currently be doing the same type of role for a business in Abu Dhabi at present .

You will have experience in coordinating with such departments for road closures, diversions, cut offs, access and written permission to move forward & act.

This person must be charismatic, a strong communicator, aware of the local GCC culture and able to win over people and build trust.

You will have key contacts, clients & relationships at the following businesses:
- Department of Transport
- Transco
- ADIA
- RTA
- UPC
- Municipality

Requirements

You will have a specific engineering background so you can read drawings and understand all technical elements for proposals and clearance that you need to achieve.

Reporting directly into the Operations Manager you will be on call to make things happen and get clearances from clients .

They are not looking for someone to sit in a queue but for someone that can speed up the process for them .

You will either have this very specific experience or you wont!

The right person will have the following credentials below.

Fluent in Arabic & English
Currently residing in Abu Dhabi
Degree Educated - Civil Engineering or Structural
Have 2 Years Minimum experience in the same role

Package Range 17-23,000 AED Per Month plus flights & medical
