Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Carries out alone or as a member of a team, Inspection / design /maintenance/ handling of lifting equipment in Shipping and Material Operation Department.
- Carryout cargo inspection, lifting supervision and coordination of all types of Material Handling related to logistic operation.
- Ensure safe cargo lifting operation and heavy / controlled lift movement of materials. Carry out other similar or related jobs such as assisting in cargo-marine operations as assigned by Supervisor.
- Carryout inspection of CCUs/ baskets and allied lifting equipment for safe cargo lifting operation in shipping.
- Ensure by adequate inspection and carrying out necessary corrective action that all cargo units are safe to lift and sea worthy for sailing.
- Carryout necessary minor repair/ maintenance/ inspection of all types of lifting equipment related to logistic operation.
- Carryout necessary activities with less direction/ supervision for maintaining all lifting equipment to ADMA OPCO / international standards.
- Carryout necessary risk assessment and implement control lift procedures as and when required.
- Carryout necessary coordination with related departments in ensuring safe lifting and cargo movement.
- Carryout necessary training to all Lifting Personnel / Riggers in executing safe lifting practices in job work.
- Maintain relevant data and generate reports on daily basis regarding inspection details, movement & release statistics and other such related activities in computer.
- Carryout daily assigned duties and supervision of assistants in executing lifting section objectives as and when required.
- Carryout close monitoring on safe use of lifting equipments by other end users and provide necessary training/ practical demonstration in bringing up a better working standard in logistic operation.
- Carryout general routine duties associated with Rigging, Material Handling, etc, for all types of lifting related activities.
- Ensure safe working environment by safe lifting practices for the lifting operations in logistic department.
- Performs good housekeeping at work places.
- Observe company safety rules and regulations in carrying at all assigned duties. Uses correct PPEs and report to supervisor any unsafe conditions or practices. Participate /conduct safety fire fighting drills as assigned. Reports any accidents, damage, and equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor immediately.
- Carries out all activities in accordance with the companys health, safety environment and quality policies.
- Participate in other related activities by providing required assistance for shipping & material operations.
- To carryout all types of assignment call basis/ shifts as and when required by supervisor.
- Engineering Professional Degree with Technical knowledge of all type of Lifting Equipment associated with oilfield operations both onshore and offshore.

Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of related professional experience out of which 5 years should be in inspection/ design/ maintenance/ logistic handling of lifting equipment in Major oil companies.
- Should be fluent in English and computer operating systems in maintenance of records and data management.
- Should have professional qualification such as LEEA-UK Part I & II or equivalent with Lifting Inspection/ training expertise in oil and gas industries.
- Should have initiative, result oriented and best communicative capabilities in job execution.
