Employment: Full Time

Our company is bidding on a proposal in Afghanistan and seeking candidates who would be interested in this opportunity. Services for this contract include the provision of scheduled and unscheduled Operations & Maintenance of various facilities and infrastructure at various locations throughout Afghanistan.

The Logistic Manager will be required to handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation. Must also build relationship with Logistics mediators and work closely with package engineers to ensure protection of freight in transportation. Liaison with transport companies to carry out required services. Ensure that opportunities and synergies are identified and pursued whilst ensuring day to day excellence in the ongoing operation. The candidate will be responsible for timely procurement of the materials necessary for successful project operations.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in Afghanistan or similar environments.

Requirements

A minimum of at least 5 years of experience managing power generation project.
With at least years 2 experience being in a conflict environment.
Must be educated to degree level and may also be required to hold any relevant qualifications and systems training associated with Logistics Management, as well as experience in the Logistics sector.
Must have effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.
