Working with the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will supervise and manage the logistics operations activities in FAMCO Saudi with regard to requirements of the equipment, ground and air transportation, inventory, record keeping, movement of equipment and disbursements.

Related specific responsibilities:

* Responsible for creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders, uploading orders online on suppliers websites
* Responsible for maintaining a record of all outstanding purchase orders with external vendors
* Arranges transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule
* Reviews expediting schedules on all customer orders. Obtains and forwards information to planning and sales teams
* Responsible for all duty customs sales and tax functions, including certification and verification, drawback, and compliance with governmental agencies
* Coordinates imports and exports
* Reviews freight rates: air, courier, and land
* Liaises with custom brokers for updated reporting procedures and valuations
* Assistance in provision of logistics support to other staff by arranging land and air-travel
* Maintenance of equipment's inventory
* Assign duties to drivers ensuring timely services, issuing fuel, recording log-books and maintenance and repair/recovery of vehicles
* Adheres to procedures and policies inside the company
* Performance of any other duties as required by the Logistics Manager

Requirements

To be successful in winning this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree

* Experience in Heavy equipment business is a definite advantage

* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field of operations and logistics

* Excellent knowledge of computer applications especially the Microsoft office programs and Internet browsing

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Fluency in oral/written English

* Ability to work in open yards (if required)
