Job description / Role
We are looking for a locally hired talent to support the C17 Field Operations team based at Al-Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The successful candidate will manage the Logistics Data processes for the Qatari Air Force at Al-Udeid AB.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- The successful candidate will develop, coordinate, document, and implement all activities associated with the processing of Qatar C17 maintenance information from the Customer's maintenance records and data from onboard configuration recorders.
- Tasks include reviewing for completeness, accuracy, and entry into a variety of data systems to include G081, the Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS) for the Standard Flight Data Recorder data and Advanced Diagnostic Engine Management System (ADEMS) for the C17 Optical Quick Access Recorder data, together with coordination of all data related issues with the QEAF at Al-Udeid, Boeing and USAF C-17 Aeronautical Systems Group personnel.
- Responsible for responding to customer and management requests for a variety of reports extracted from the various data systems, principally from G081, with limited or no directions.
- Task requires expertise with U.S. Government G081 and CEMS databases and candidate must be able to obtain a US MoD clearance.
- Interim clearance is required to start. Job requires knowledge of US military maintenance practices and procedures (781 series).
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in a numerical discipline. Advanced IT skills including programming skills and Excel (VBA) would be advantageous but not necessity Knowledge of Forecasting methods would be welcomed.

- Collect and analyze supplier performance data to assure supplier performance meets all Boeing requirements.
- The ability to mine and analyze data and to present the findings to management Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate and summarize.

This job is a level 2 or 3 depending on the candidates level of experience. Task requires relocating to Qatar. Successful candidate will go through healthcare and background checks and must be able to satisfy Qatari residency and work permit requirements.
