Job description / Role
Location: Oyala, Equatorial Guinea
Our client is an US based educational organization who is looking for a Logistics & HR Officer for their new exciting University being constructed in Oyala, Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. You will be responsible for coordinating, consolidating and ensuring the smooth implementation of and adherence to logistics, administration and HR procedures and providing logistical and HR/Admin support to the client’s educational organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Running the office premises and ensuring the proper functioning of supply chain activities (planning, purchasing of goods and service, transport, storage, planning and maintenance of the University fleet, IT requirements and all communications) .
• Provide HR, Administration support to employees of the Branch as per the company strategy, induction, training, personnel administration, supporting with payroll, local legalization and dealing with local immigration authorities.
• Provide support to employees and visitors with business travel arrangements inclusive of visa support.
• Direct oversight of third party vendors and office supplies
Requirements
Skills, Experience and Competencies:
• Bi- lingual in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of African immigration procedures and previous experience in dealing with local Authorities strongly preferred
• HR, logistics and admin background
• Tertiary qualification in requisite discipline
• 4-5 years Logistics/HR generalist experience in educational or professional services industry
• Loyal, committed and extremely organized
• Able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
The right candidate will be entitled to a rewarding career in an emerging market with a salary package of US $ 48,000 per annum, accommodation, food allowance, plus 2 annual tickets paid to your country of origin.
