Marks & Spencer, part of Al Futtaim Retail, is a globally recognised retail brand offering stylish, high quality, great value clothing, home accessories and outstanding food.

With 17 Stores currently located across the MENA including locations in the UAE, Oman, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar there is further growth planned with  an additional four stores to open in 2012 including Lebanon and Jordan as new markets.

We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join Marks & Spencer business to lead Logistics process from the supplier to stores for 8 countries across the MENA region. This role requires an individual contributor working to everage shared services with a focus on details at the brand level. Creating logistics capability to deliver availability targets in each market is critical for volume and profit growth.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

* Planning and budgeting of the logistics to supply M&S Stores in liaison with Merchandising, Retail Operations and Group Retail Logistics.

* Establishing and improving logistics process from supplier warehouse into stores in all new and existing markets in line with changing regulations utilizing suitable service providers. This will include ensuring all documentation relating to import & export complies with relevant countries requirements
* Managing 3PL to drive efficiency and warehouse control
* Manage store openings with full availability  to establish consumer loyalty and  instant gratification
* Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reports to track shipment , stock and relevant costs.

Suitable candidates should have the following skills and experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline (BSc engineering, transport or logistics); Certification in Logistics a plus
* Excellent English communication skills, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
* A minimum of 7 years experience in Logistics and 3 years of experience in managing logistics operations ,
* Experience in Fashion Logistics and working with 3PL
* Demonstrated experience in leading and executing complex logistics operations in a multi country environment
* Knowledge and ability to establish and execute  logistics process for new market entry
* Strong presentation skills
* Competent is using MSOffice Tools, SAP or similar ERP pack
* Experience of working in dynamic task oriented environments that require quick response
* Leadership skills
* Ability to handle multiple, complex and competing priorities and projects
* Advanced analytical skills
