Employment: Full Time

Logistics Manager - Shipping - Gambia, West Africa

- Logistics - UAC units, claims, demurrage, and monthly demurrage reports
- Export responsibilities - Freight manifests, ensuring timely shipping documents for customs, overview released bookings, securing quick transit times from POL-POD, maintaing relationships with customers, maintaining a good relationship between export and sales departments
- Import - Manifests, extraction of EDI files, secure strict BL procedures.
- Operation - Coordinate vessel calls with Operations, final checkup of CASP files.
- Monthly reports - Logistics, Import, export, customer service, and documentation.

Requirements

- 4+ years of experience as a Logistics Manager or in a supervisory role within a logistics department
- Experience within the international shipping industry
- Experience of working in Africa
- A second language would be advantageous
