Logistics Manager

Job description / Role

Responsible for: Overall Logistics Operations, Fleet, Manpower, Efficiencies to be built in to support business and for smooth, efficient and safe operations.

Teams - Logistics Team and down the line reportees / operational teams.

Must work together with Quarry, Production, Sales, Warehousing and Maintenance Teams to support business.

Requirements

Graduate in Engg/ Supply Chain & Logistics with 12 yrs to max 15 yrs of experience in entire gamut of Logistics Operations for Marble Industry.

Must have hands-on experience in starting-up of Logistics operations for an end-to-end Process industry, (preferably Marble industry) incl. the process, inland and export documentation, safety guidelines, fleet maintenance effective route plan management with options to support emergencies and contingencies

Strong Analytical and Negotiation skills to build in efficiencies in crosscountry logistics and business operations.

Strong skills in managing operational cost and controlling manpower / teams.

Strong Communication and Presentation skills to align with teams, peers and business leadership team.
