Reporting to Purchasing & Inventory Control Manager, the Logistics & Procurement Executive will supervise and manage the logistics & procurement activities in the Storage and Handling Solution Division of FAMCO, UAE. The incumbent will deal with requirements of the Racking & Shelving, Doors & Docking Equipment and Al Futtaim Interiors department, responsible for transportation, inventory, record keeping, movement of goods and disbursements.

Specific Responsibilities:

Creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders for local and foreign vendors.
Arranging transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure safe and efficient delivery of material as per schedule.
Knowledge of Ports & Customs regulations and liaise with customs as and when required.
Arranging insurance of all goods in transit and payment of customs duty.
Generating relevant SAP reports for the purpose of efficient inventory control.
Data entry for SAP Project in coordination with the sales team.
Maintaining record of all outstanding purchase orders with local and foreign vendors.
Coordination with warehouse personnel on a regular basis.
Performance of any other duties as required by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree holder in Commerce from a recognised University/Institution.

You must have a minimum of 5 years UAE experience in a similar role.

You must have excellent knowledge of computer applications especially the Microsoft Office programs and Internet browsing.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Fluency in oral and written English

Working knowledge and experience of SAP
