Logistics Supervisor

Job description / Role

Our client a leading FMCG food and beverage manufacturer are looking to recruit a Logistics Supervisor for there team in Al Ain.

The main function of the role is to assist with the day to day running of the logistics division (heavy duty vehicles) and a transport department of around 80 people.

Key responsibilities are:
* Plan and evaluate data for the routing program
* Ensure lean and safe logistics movements according to the highest standard
* Analyze logistics efficiency and propse improvements if needed
* Comply with UAE law of distribution regualtions
* Ensure the update of transportation map when new roads/streets are built
* Cost control of logistics operations with regualr reporting
* Contribute to vendor evaluation for vehicle leasing and monitor

Salary - up to 13K AED plus family medical, visa and annual ticket for self and spouse.

Work - Saturday - Thursday (6 days)

Requirements

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience working with a busy logistics/distribution environment.

* Experience working within a logistics department with heavy duty vehicles
* 5 years relevant experience
* 2 years in a supervisory position
* Experience in budget control
* Experience in managing a large team
