Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Under general supervision, is accountable for higher responsibility and more complex logistics transactions such as controlled goods, explosives, etc. Ensures efficient movement of goods in compliance with company policies, procedures and local laws, including in-country transportation as well as exportation and importation of goods. Maintains and retains logs and files, including all the relevant support documents, for all movements of materials. Communicates and coordinates with all parties involved in relation to materials movements. Assists in developing less experienced Logistics specialists. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree or certification in foreign trade, international commerce, supply chain, business or similar discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. International Air Transport Association (IATA) certificate required for international operations.

Requirements

• Hold B.Com certificate or business admin.
• MBA is a plus
• At least 5 Yrs. logistics experience – preferable in the Oil industry
• Supervision and leading skills
• Fluent in English, with Arabic as mother Tounge
• Outlook and Office Computer skills – ERP and SAP experience is a plus
