Employment: Full Time

Our Client is a global water technology provider; transporting, treating, testing and advising the efficiency of water usage for municipal utility, commercial and residential building services, industrial and agricultural settings. They operate out five continents through a number of market leading brands, headquarters in the USA, with revenues of $4 billion and 12,500 employees worldwide they are currently recruiting for a Logistics and Order Specialist for their Dubai office.

Your responsibilities and main duties:
- Technical order specification and new part master data: find or create production numbers, fill in technical order specifications for products
- Sales order entry in ERP: check prices, delivery terms, payment terms against quotes, sales contracts, and distributor agreements
- Customer service: answer inquiries for lead times, availability, standard prices
- Test and certificates: make sure with customers what they need and check with suppliers what is possible and how to price.
- Acknowledge receipt of sales order
- Purchase order handling in ERP: check prices, delivery terms, payment terms etc.
- Monitor and follow up deliveries
- Register new suppliers on the ERP system and keep the register updated
- Advising on delivery terms, book transports, handle freight documents
- Coordinate custom clearance, create and collect necessary documents including Certificate of Origin/SASO
- Warehousing and cross docking: handle special solutions special/project orders
- Letter of credit handling: check what logistic requirements and documents can be accepted. Collect and present logistic related L/C documents.

Requirements

- Good knowledge of English in speech and writing. Arabic/ French (advantage)
- Knowledge of MS Microsoft Office/excel, PC literate
- Experience with ERP / SAP systems, international trade and logistics education (advantage)
- Letter of credit experience (essential)

You will need to demonstrate capability or experience of:
- Current / past history of working in a customer focused / service oriented / professional office environment.
- Your ability to work in structured manner with clarity
- lIntegrity / accountability; build confidence in others and delivering on commitments made
- Process understanding, good interpersonal skills, results-oriented and very good communication skills
- Ability to read drawings and previous pump knowledge (highly desirable)
