The RoleThe RoleThe Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating interfaces with Infrastructure Contractors assigned to the development of specific areas of the Island. Much of the interface coordination is expected to be delegated to Logistics and the assigned Development Coordinator. Development of several projects will proceed concurrently and it is anticipated that there will be many interface issues requiring resolution. This will require proactive involvement to ensure that firm deadlines will be met. The Development Coordinator will also be responsible for the interface between the Contractors and the Municipal planning authorities, and will coordinate with them on the implementation of regulations and enforcement thereof. Responsibilities: Developer Coordination: Meet with assigned Contractors routinely, address interface issues, ensure that RFIs are answered on a timely basis. Reports: Compile development metrics as required for the monthly reports. Minute writing: Document discussions in meetings (or ensure that they are accurately documented by others), circulate them expeditiously, and respond to comments and questions. Other Duties: Miscellaneous other assignments as requested by the Logistics Manager, including replacement of other Logistic Coordinators during leave or illness. |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience and Qualification: • A technical degree is preferred with minimum 5 years experience in project management for developments. Specialized logistics experience is highly desired. • Good written and oral communication skills in English. He must have the confidence to speak to members of the client team, contractor’s representatives, vendors and government officials. • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. • Initiative: Must have required initiative and confidence to deal with requests from client and the various Contractors and their Subcontractors, and accurately relay the requests to appropriate members of the various Parsons and client team. |
