Loss Prevention Engineer

Job description / Role

Salary range 4,000- 6,000 USD PM

Reporting directly to the Head Engineering, as an experienced Loss Prevention Engineer, your knowledge in Providing Safety & Loss Prevention information & support, including interpretations of codes, standards & practices, to operations and technical group departments on existing plant and non-plant facilities, facility modifications and new projects support knowledge will be required.

Responsibilities:
- Participate and regularly leads a multi-disciplinary team in safety review eg. HAZOP Study, what if analysis, cause and effect reviews etc. Reviewing P&IDs, PFDs, logic diagrams, SAFE Charts, etc. from a process safety point of view and represents loss prevention in hazard analysis teams.
- Implementing and demonstrating a good understanding of factors influencing the choice of risk assessment methodologies.
- Possess an understanding of loss prevention system such as ESD, Blow Down, Fire and gas detection and suppression, active and passive fire protection and various other loss prevention systems
- Develop safety & loss prevention procedures in conjunction with producing and process facility investigation
- Develop & implement Project HSE deliverables and HSE Plan accident free completion process for project/projects.

Requirements

- BE - Chemical Engineering / MSC in safety or Loss Prevention information & support
- 12 to 15 years experience of working in Oil & Gas sector
- NEBOSH certification
- In depth knowledge of HSE Design studies and international work experience
