Job description / Role
Salary: AED 16,000 20,000
A luxury, high end Cosmetics group is keen to appoint a Store Manager for their Abu Dhabi Flagship Boutique. The role will require you to oversee the total operations of the store, including merchandising, sales, customer service, and staff development.
The successful candidate will:
- Guide, coach and train a team of 50+ people. Ensure product knowledge and market/competition intelligence is delivered on an ongoing basis.
- Review sales figures and take proactive initiatives to ensure stores targets are met. Monitor sales KPIs to ensure budgets are achieved.
- Identify slow and fast moving items back to buyers on a monthly basis. Ensure availability of optimum stocks of the latest items at all times.
- Guide, coach, and motivate staff continuously to bring out their potential and enable them to improve their performance. Develop and mentor employees, identify specific training needs. Monitor effectiveness of individuals progress within the team.
- Work in conjunction with the Marketing division to ensure the success of the brands and new product launches.
Requirements
- You must have between 4 - 8 years retail experience, and have proven experience working within the luxury retail market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good command of spoken and written English essential.
- Natural leader.
- Computer literate with knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Ability to take ownership of the business.
- Proven success in the Cosmetics market.
