Luxury Retail Director

Job description / Role

Salary: L140,000 per year package, plus Bonus & Benefits & Relocation Assistance

A large high end, internationally renowned Department Store is currently seeking to appoint a Store Director to develop and manage its business plans and objectives. Working within the luxury retail market, and reporting into the President you will be responsible for strategically aligning the business in achieving its short, medium and long term tactical plans, associated budgets and sales strategies, and ensuring growth targets are achieved.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all business functions including Marketing, Finance, Buying, Operations.
- Achievement of financial budgets / targets / plans (store turnover, business growth, revenue and costs within budget).
- Effective sales strategies (development & implementation).
- Procedural compliance (development, implementation & adherence).
- Service and store standards.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Traffic to sales closing ratio & improved sell through.

Requirements

- Experienced in luxury retail at a senior level, preferably with a Department Store background typically gained over a period of 20 years+.
- A proven track record in the field of Retailing, strategic management, excellent people management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English skills both written and verbal.
- Keen to travel & develop network of professional & business relationships.
