The RoleThe RoleOur client, a leading Islamic bank is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst into the Strategic Business Development team. The candidate will assist in the establishment and execution of the bank’s global expansion strategy. The candidate will primarily be responsible for developing financial models related to the bank’s expansion into new geographic or strategic areas, and for assessing value creation opportunities by analyzing market attractiveness, competitive dynamics and cost of entry. In addition, the Analyst will assist in financial modeling related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and spin-offs for various bank entities. The candidate will need to be highly motivated, self-confident and display tremendous initiative. They must be willing to operate in an unstructured environment and immediately assume significant levels of responsibility. Knowledge of a language other than English, while not a pre-requisite, would be very useful. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidate should have between one and three years of experience working with: A major investment bank The Corporate Finance practice of a “Big Four” accounting firm (outside of the G.C.C.); or The Strategy or Corporate Development Group at another financial institution |
