The RoleThe Role• 6-8 yrs business development resource to work on building pipeline with diversified family owned companies in Saudi Arabia (market cap of approx. SR 200 m – SR 300 m) • Initiate discussions with co-investors on specific deals • To work on building relationships with industry players outside of Saudi (who have the interest in entering the Saudi market through acquisition) |
RequirementsRequirements• 6-8 year years of experience in M&A business development roles • Bachelors in any discipline with knowledge of corporate finance and M&A • Self starter / Pro – Active / Uses initiative / Ambitious • Persuasive with excellent communication and selling skills • A personable individual with a robust and confident personality, a good team player • An accountancy or legal qualification are seen as a plus, rather than obligatory • Arabic language skills are obligatory and business fluency in English is expected. • Strong relationships with family business owners and senior family business managers in Saudi Arabia • A willing self-starter with a solid record of business origination skills and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) in Saudi Arabia • An ability to assess the commercial attractiveness and the feasibility of a private equity transaction is required according to the investment strategy of the private equity team • Capable of developing and harvesting strong relationships with Saudi family business owners to source transactions • Strong client empathy, with an ability to manage a wide business network • Ability to support the investment team on a number of potential transactions and prioritise work, as a part of overall project management responsibilities • A desire to contribute largely to the success of the investment group is a pre-requisite |
