The RoleThe RoleThe UAE's largest Bank is looking to increase their asset management capability by adding one seasoned Portfolio Manager to their highly successful team. Your responsibilities would be oversee the development of the MENA Equities portfolio. You will work alongside the Director in order to facilitate the implementation of an all-cap, multi-strategy fund. The fund's principal aim is to gain significant returns on investment coupled with low volitility facilitated through in-house development of sophisticated market risk systems. By year end, the aim is to have a well diversified fund, trading on the major stock exchanges in the GCC and North Africa and which will be managed by three senior PMs. |
RequirementsRequirementsDue to the technical demands of this role, my client is seeking experienced portfolio managers with at least 5 years trading on the buy-side. Trading experience in the MENA region is not a necessity, but Emerging Markets experience is preferable. As the role involves a great deal of client facing responsibility, a good comprehension of the Arabic (Gulf Region) language is essential. The ideal candidate will hold a Master Degree from a reputable university as well as professional qualifications like the CFA or CAIA.
