Employment: Full Time

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Programme Manager - Graduates will take responsibility for the end-to-end talent acquisition process and on-programme development of graduates and interns in the UAE. The job holder will take responsibility for delivering all graduate hiring in the UAE as well as setting rotations and collecting feedback on graduates for the UAE, one the most critical and profitable locations in the network. The bank recruits c40 graduates and interns into the UAE year on year.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Sourcing, Selection & Hiring
* Develop and implement sourcing channel strategies focused on building relationships with candidates throughout their university career
* Campaign implementation; careers fairs, presentations, advertising etc
* End to end candidate management for each programme i.e. timely review and shortlisting of applications and managing the interview and selection process
* Manage business participation in selection events (e.g. short listing meetings, interviews, assessment days) as defined within the Group Standards

Targets & governance:
* Partner with the business and Group Graduate Talent team to understand the pipeline for the coming 12 - 18 months and agree hiring numbers for the programmes
* Ensure compliance with operational and people risk controls, and employment legislation
* Escalate any issues and risks

Definition of hiring needs
* Conduct a structured business needs discussion with key business and HR managers for the programmes, identify the key candidate requirements and agree the TA strategy
* Provide a full consultative service to hiring managers with regards to competitor activity and market trends in entry level talent acquisition.

Pre-Joining
* Work with Talent Acquisition Coordinator(s) to ensure pre-employment checks are completed in line with global minimum standards
* Ensure all talent acquisition pre-employment global standards are met (e.g. issuing of contracts and induction packs, Bank ID creation and notifications to hiring managers etc).

Relationship Management
* Build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. school and university careers services, trade press organizations)

Employer brand and Employer Value Proposition
* Ensure the employer brand is fully used and that Hiring Managers and HRRMs deliver a consistent brand message
* Deliver full compliance to employer brand governance process

Reporting & System Management
* Effectively and efficiently use PeopleSoft and Taleo to manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, recording all details and keeping the system up-to-date

Deployment
* Responsible for UAE graduate deployment (i.e. graduates rolling off the programmes and moving into the business)

Programme Management
* Deliver graduate induction programmes
* Identify and assign sponsors / buddies
* Conduct briefing sessions for graduate sponsors & rotation managers
* Arrange and manage rotation schedule, and track against plan
* Coordinate rotation review panel
* Collect post-rotation performance feedback from rotation managers

Requirements

* Proven recruitment experience of recruiting graduate and / or MBA candidates, preferably within a financial services environment.
* Sound technical understanding of graduate market and process
* Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
* Flexible approach to work (attendance at evening and weekend events may be required)
* Experience of building networks and relationships both internally and externally, locally and internationally (with colleagues, institutions, recruitment suppliers etc)
* Track record of working in a very organized way, multi-tasking, prioritising, managing data, and setting and achieving deadlines (both short and long term)

Preferred:
* Arabic language skills
* Previous experience with the Taleo Applicant Tracking system
