Job description / Role
Project: MC3 - Muscat International Airport - Passenger Terminal Building.
Client: Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Sultanate of Oman.
Contract Type: FIDIC - Yellow Book - Design and Build.
As a partner to this consortium provide the full design and Installation of all MEP Services for the Passenger Terminal Building with a project value in excess of (OMR) 150M or US$ 390M.
Requirements
- MEP biased. Must technically have full knowledge of Mechanical, electrical and public health installations.
- Proficient in both speaking and writing of English
- Familiar with the use of legal terms and have a full understanding of FIDIC
- Preferably a member of RICS and or Institute of Arbitrators
- Fully conversant of writing of claims narrative in a professional manner.
- Have experience of using AutoCad and Programming.
- Have experience to analyse programmes to write up Extension of Time and Prolongation Claims
- Is capable of working on his/her own initiative, although full support will be provided by our Engineering and QS staff in the provision of documentation.
They currently have a number of claims that urgently require processing and our initial consideration is to have someone on board for a 12 months.
